In Memoriam: Gene Domek

It is by learning to stand upon the shoulders of those who came before that civilization advances. Gene Domek has been giant of Troop One. He has taught Environmental Science and has lead by being always willing to help our Scout get ahead and learn their ways. Peter Detwiler dedicates a new boat into the Camp Cody Fleet, the “Gene Domek.”

The annual Scoutmaster’s Breakfast has for years been held at John Brozek’s “Camp Brozek,” held here in John’s backyard. We are grateful for our many years of servant leadership of Gene Domek served up as “Gene Domek Pancakes and Sausages.”
